Our Society organizes different trips around Alberta when it is possible to let our community members learn more about Alberta.

In 2004, we established a women’s club where women can celebrate holidays together, craft home decorations, engage in sport activities, and make new friends.

EAL for Seniors In Person

Thursday 6:30pm to 9pm Saturday 2:30pm to 5:30pm

Our strategic planning is aimed to advance our mission.  When it comes to EAL courses, we provide a high quality of education and hire qualified staff to achieve this goal. Every year, our board members get together to summarize the results of the year and to see what could be done better and how we can improve our services.  Board members get reports from the organization members responsible for different activities and set new goals for the next year. Board members need to be sure that these goals are in line with the organization’s budget.

Trip to Drumheller May 2024

Our organization provides different services to community members.

In 2008, we started our ESL program. The organization is very grateful to ECALA for funding this initiative.

In 2010, we started a new program: the seniors’ club. This is a group who feels the most insecure and lonely. They may come to our location and spend some quality time together discussing books, movies, and sharing recipes. In 2010, we were able to provide ESL classes to them as well. It really helped our seniors feel much more confident in their everyday life.
